A quick and easy high-protein breakfast made with rolled oats, peanut butter, Greek yogurt, and protein powder. Perfect for busy mornings, this no-cook recipe keeps you full for hours.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) milk of choice
  • 1/4 cup (60g) Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons (32g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 scoop (30g) vanilla or unflavored protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon (12g) chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) maple syrup or honey
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: sliced banana, dark chocolate chips, extra peanut butter, crushed peanuts, cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Combine the dry ingredients: In a mason jar or container, add the rolled oats, chia seeds, protein powder, and a pinch of salt. Stir to distribute evenly.
  2. Add the wet ingredients: Pour in the milk, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and maple syrup or honey. Do not stir yet.
  3. Mix thoroughly: Stir everything together until the peanut butter is fully incorporated and no dry protein powder remains. Use a small whisk to break up clumps. Scrape the bottom and sides of the jar.
  4. Taste and adjust: Before sealing, taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or peanut butter flavor if needed.
  5. Seal and refrigerate: Put the lid on tightly and refrigerate for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight (8 to 12 hours).
  6. Serve the next morning: Stir the oats, add a splash of milk if too thick, and top with desired toppings. Eat cold or let sit at room temperature for 10 minutes.

Notes

For best texture, use rolled oats (not instant or steel-cut). Warm peanut butter for 10 seconds in the microwave for easier mixing. Oats keep in the fridge for up to 5 days. For a vegan version, use plant-based milk, dairy-free yogurt, and vegan protein powder. For a gluten-free option, use certified gluten-free rolled oats.
