Quick and easy slider sandwiches featuring deli turkey, Swiss cheese, and a sweet-savory cranberry butter glaze, baked until golden and bubbly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8–10 slices deli turkey breast
  • 1 package Hawaiian rolls (slider buns)
  • 1 jar (approx. 12-14 oz) cranberry sauce (jellied or whole berry)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard or Dijon mustard
  • 8–10 slices Swiss cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until it turns light golden brown and smells nutty (about 3-4 minutes).
  3. Stir in the cranberry sauce, garlic powder, and mustard. Whisk until smooth and combined. Remove from heat.
  4. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally. Place the bottom half of the buns into an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  5. Fold each slice of turkey loosely and place it on each bun. Top with a slice of Swiss cheese, folding the turkey slightly over the cheese.
  6. Pour the warm cranberry butter mixture evenly over all the sliders, ensuring every bun is coated.
  7. Place the top half of the buns over the sliders and press down gently.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the buns are golden brown.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature buns to help them absorb the glaze. If using leftover Thanksgiving turkey, ensure it is not too dry. You can substitute Swiss cheese with cheddar, provolone, or mozzarella. For a spicy kick, add red pepper flakes to the glaze.
