A creamy, sweet, and tangy frozen lemonade drink that replicates the iconic Chick-fil-A Frosted Lemonade. Quick and easy to make with just lemonade, vanilla ice cream, and ice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (240 ml) fresh lemonade (homemade or store-bought with real lemon juice)
  • 1 cup (130 g) vanilla ice cream (high-quality brand like Breyers or Haagen-Dazs)
  • 12 tablespoons powdered sugar (optional, to adjust sweetness)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) ice cubes
  • Lemon zest (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure 1 cup (240 ml) of fresh lemonade and scoop 1 cup (130 g) of vanilla ice cream. If your lemonade is too tart, add 1 tablespoon of powdered sugar now. Gather about 1 cup (240 ml) of ice cubes.
  2. In your blender, combine the lemonade and vanilla ice cream. Blend on medium speed for about 20 seconds until smooth and creamy. The mixture should be thick but pourable, with a velvety texture.
  3. Add the ice cubes and blend again for 10-15 seconds, just until the ice is crushed but not completely melted. Taste and add another tablespoon of powdered sugar if needed. Blend briefly to combine.
  4. Pour into a tall glass and garnish with a sprinkle of lemon zest for an extra burst of flavor and a pop of color. Serve immediately.

Notes

Use high-quality vanilla ice cream for best creaminess. Adjust powdered sugar to balance tartness and sweetness. Blend in stages to avoid watery texture. Keep ingredients chilled for best texture. If blender struggles with ice, use smaller cubes or let ice soften slightly. Do not over-blend ice to maintain a slushy texture.
