A fun and shareable pull-apart pizza bread ring stuffed with pepperoni and cheese, featuring a crispy crust and soft, cheesy inside. Perfect for game nights or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound (450g) pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
  • 2025 pepperoni slices
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (preferably whole milk)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Fresh basil leaves, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a roughly 12-inch (30 cm) circle.
  3. Cut the dough into 1-inch (2.5 cm) wide strips, leaving the center intact to form a ring shape.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded mozzarella, Parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, and salt.
  5. Sprinkle the cheese mixture evenly just inside the outer edge of the dough circle, then arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese.
  6. Lift each dough strip over the filling and tuck it under the dough circle’s edge, overlapping slightly to seal the ring.
  7. Brush the entire ring generously with olive oil, coating the edges well.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown and crispy and the cheese is bubbling.
  9. Let the bread ring cool for about 5 minutes before gently pulling apart and serving warm.

Notes

Do not overfill the ring to prevent sogginess and cheese leakage. Brushing with olive oil is essential for a crispy, golden crust. Let the bread rest before pulling apart to make serving easier and less messy. For reheating leftovers, warm in a 350°F oven for 10 minutes to maintain crispness.
